Our family story

Nearly a century
in full bloom.

Founded in 1929, Stevens of Sibsey is a fourth-generation family flower business with its roots set deep in the fertile Lincolnshire soil.

What began with a family flower stall in Grimsby has grown into a celebrated presence at neighbourhood markets across London and Lincolnshire. Today, George Stevens carries the family name forward—growing on the Sibsey farm and bringing the character of the field directly to the city.

Our approach remains beautifully simple: grow with care, cut for freshness and make every market display feel abundant. George's aim is to deliver exceptional flowers—cut the day before wherever the season allows—to wholesale and retail customers who value freshness and provenance.

The seasons, gathered

What we grow.

Our farm follows the rhythm of the year. From dahlias and peonies to 27 varieties of wildflower, each crop arrives in its own time—full of shape, scent and the quiet beauty of field-grown flowers.

British flowers, proudly grown

27

Wildflower
varieties.

From vivid cornflowers to sculptural lupins, we grow a broad field-led collection that celebrates the individuality of British flowers. No two stems are quite the same—and that is exactly the point.

The next generation

“I am proud of what we do—and determined to back British flower growers.”

George's ambition is to honour the work of the generations before him, strengthen British-grown flowers and carry the Stevens family legacy forward for generations still to come.

Tread a little lighter

Beautiful flowers.
Less plastic.

We try to be plastic-free wherever we can—from the way flowers leave our stalls to the materials we choose behind the scenes. It is a practical promise, improved season after season, without compromising freshness or beauty.
